Elegance and functionality in Hardware design

One key feature of EuroVision windows and doors is the quality and versatile hardware used.

EuroVision provides quality hardware from Siegenia-Aubi, in Germany. This is one of the largest suppliers of window and door hardware in Europe. This includes the operating mechanisms, hinges, sliding door gear and tracks, bifold gear and tracks, and some handles.

Hardware Finish

Standard Finish used is Titanium silver which has good corrosion resistance. This is suitable for most New Zealand conditions.

For some situations (such as coastal properties) there is the option to upgrade to ‘E-Look.’ The following is quoted in a letter from the Manager Quality Management, Siegenia...

“In this the components with the E-Look finish achieve figures far above the level for standard surface finishes. As a representative figure we would like to quote you the resistance to red rust of steel components under salt spray mist test conditions (to DIN 50021 SS). For the E-Look surface finish this is over 1000 hours and for the yellow chromated and titanium silver finishes it is 480 hours. The visual appearance to the E-Look finish recreates the appearance of a stainless steel surface.”

Hardware Options

Hinge Caps:

Caps are supplied for hinges, in a choice of colours ­ white, brown, silver, light matt titanium, dark matt titanium, matt gold, polished gold or polished titanium.

Tracks & Covers

Sliding and Bifold tracks/covers are available in silver, champagne, white, brown and middle bronze.
